I was shocked and saddened to learn today that Gerard Smith who was the bassist for one of my favorite bands had passed away from lung cancer at the way too young age of 36. I have plans to see the band perform live here in San Diego next week. It will be only their second performance since his passing.
I'm expecting an emotional performance.
